Jobs in the Mall

Are you a teen looking for jobs in the mall? If you are 14, 15, or 16 years old the thought of working at one of your favorite stores, where just about everyone you know hangs out, can be exciting. Before you go and apply to one of the many places hiring at the mall you need to find out how old you have to be work there, right?

Well, the answer is, most jobs in the mall require that you are at least 16 years old to apply for employment. Some of the stores that have this minimum age requirement include Target, Footlocker, Macy's, Gap, Bath and Body Works, Delias, Forever 21, Childrens Place, Gamestop, Lids, Auntie Anne's, Barnes and Noble, Express, Nike, Sears, Ruby Tuesday, and Zumiez.

But don't lose hope if you are under 16. There are still lots of places you can work at 14 years old, and 15 years old. Now we ant to let you in on a little inside info about what really goes on when you work in these stores. We have recruited ex-employees from these mall jobs that will tell you all about their experiences.

In some instances you will find that the job is just what you thought it would be. In other cases you may find that you are lucky you never had to work for the company at all. We will also let you know how much these workers were paid, if they ever got a raise while employed, and if they would work for the employer again.

You are right at the beginning of your work career. What you will learn through experience is that if you love a job, the day goes by quickly and you are content or even happy at the end of the day. When you hate a job, you dread every minute, the day drags along, and the money may not even be worth it in the end. So it is important for you to find a job that you like.
